About Us
At Ofrenda Spirits, the art of traditional mezcal is our passion.
We’ve cultivated relationships with local farmers and artisans to source the finest, sustainably-harvested agave.
Our mezcals are crafted in small batches, using time-honored techniques passed down through generations of mezcaleros.
Every bottle is a reflection of our dedication to quality, craftsmanship, and the pursuit of perfection. From the carefully selected agave varieties to our bespoke bottles designed by local Mexican artists, every detail is a testament to our commitment to creating an unparalleled drinking experience.
In ancient Mexico,
the indigenous maguey plant, known today as agave, was a sacred source of sustenance, gifted to mankind by the gods.
In return, we present an offering, or an ofrenda: the finest quality, small batch, artesanal mezcal. When you drink Ofrenda Spirits, you taste the land, culture, history, and tradition of Mexico. You taste the full potential of what agave spirits have to offer.
Our Mezcals
While most mezcals on the market are made from Espadín, the industry’s most common agave variety, we take a different path.
There are over 40 types of agaves used to make mezcal, each with its own flavor profile. Similar to winemaking, the location and surrounding environment, how the plant is tended to, and ultimately the procedures used in distillation all contribute to the taste and quality of the finished product. One could say pinot noir and cabernet sauvignon are as different as Coyote and Cupreata.
At Ofrenda Spirits, we source only the rarest and most exceptional varieties to craft our mezcals. We seek out agaves that offer a depth and complexity that’s hard to find in the mainstream. Our small-batch mezcals are a testament to the art of traditional production, where every step – from harvest to bottling – is a labor of love.
The result is a range of mezcals that are as rare as they are remarkable, with each sip a journey into the uncharted territories of flavor and aroma.
